Happy Heart Communication is a methodology I created after more than a decade of teaching languages and training as a body psychotherapist and yoga instructor.
I noticed that what stopped my students from speaking wasn’t grammar. It was fear. Embarrassment. The feeling of not being enough.
So I built something different: a way of learning English that works with the whole person, the mind, the body, and the heart.
Whether you join me for a private class online, a yoga session in Córdoba, a Walk & Talk in the Sierra, or a week-long retreat in Ireland; the intention is always the same: to help you feel seen, heard, and free to express yourself.

I’m not just an English teacher. I’m also a body psychotherapist and a yoga instructor, and that combination is the whole point.
After more than ten years of teaching, I realised that what stopped people from speaking wasn’t a lack of knowledge. It was something held in the body. A tightening in the chest. A voice that went quiet. Fear of making grammar mistakes.
So I trained. First in languages, a Master’s in English and French, CELTA in Sheffield, years managing international summer schools in Brighton and Oxford. Then in the body, Integrative Body Psychotherapy in Córdoba, and 250 hours of yoga teacher training.
Happy Heart Communication is what happened when I brought all of that together.
I am an ardent admirer of human connections and the base of every connection is communication. Learning a foreign language is so much more than learning grammar schemes, filling in missing words in texts or completing daunting listening comprehension tasks.
